Alex Bakman

ALEX BAKMAN, Founder, CEO, Director Prior to Ecora, Bakman founded
CleverSoft, Inc., a developer of monitoring solutions for Lotus Notes
that was acquired by Candle Corporation. While at Candle, Bakman grew
his business unit revenue from $1.2 million in 1996 to $8.5 million in
1998. Candle’s products are used today in over half of the Fortune 500
companies. Bakman began his career in product development at IBM’s
Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He subsequently joined IBM’s Wall
Street sales office, where he consulted for large financial institutions
such as Goldman Sachs, Kidder Peabody, Prudential Securities, and Smith
Barney. Bakman graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science
degree in computer science and a minor in business administration from
the American University in Washington D.C.
