Adrian Gore

ADRIAN GORE is Chief Executive Officer of Discovery Holdings Ltd.
Serving at the helm of the South African-based Discovery since it was
founded in 1992, Mr. Gore left Liberty Life in1992 to launch the
international company that transformed the healthcare insurance industry
in South Africa. In 1998, Ernst & Young deemed Mr. Gore South Africa’s
Best Entrepreneur. Professional Management Review has also selected him
as the most admired individual in health insurance. Mr. Gore received a
Bachelor of Science degree, graduating with honors from the University
of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. In 1990, he was admitted as a
Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries (Edinburgh) and in 1992 as an
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (Chicago). He is also a member of
the American Academy of Actuaries and a FASSA.
