Adam Applegarth

ADAM APPLEGARTH is Chief Executive of Northern Rock Plc. He joined
Northern Rock in 1983 from Durham University as a management trainee. He
was appointed General Manager in 1993 and became an Executive Director
in 1996, responsible for lending, insurance, information technology,
marketing and corporate affairs. Mr Applegarth is a Trustee of the
International Centre for Life Trust.
