Ron Sparks – Smith & Nephew Plc (snn)

RON SPARKS was appointed President of Smith & Nephew Endoscopy in July 1998 and joined the Group Executive Committee in January 1999. Prior to joining Endoscopy, he was President of the Wound Management Division in Largo, Florida, for three years. He began his career at Smith & Nephew in June 1983 as Manager of Cost Accounting in Andover for what was formerly known as Dyonics, Inc. He has held multiple positions during his tenure at Smith & Nephew including Controller and Vice President of Finance & MIS. Prior to joining Smith & Nephew, he held positions with American Brands, Beatrice Foods Co. and Union Carbide Imaging Systems. He received his Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Massachusetts and completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleu, France in 1995. Profile
