RICHARD OWEN is Chairman and CEO of the leading mobile infrastructure
software and services provider, AvantGo, Inc. He has a unique
perspective on the wireless industry, having directed major operations
on each of the three continents driving wireless ' namely Asia, Europe
and North America. He hales from Liverpool, England, and spent his post-
university years with the big five consulting firm KPMG in London before
heading to the States to earn a Master's degree from MIT's Sloan School
of Management. Mr. Owen's distinguished career includes an eight-year
meteoric rise at Dell Computer. Throughout his career, he has received
accolades. Worth magazine named him 'an Internet visionary to watch.'

Internet economy like Dell, and 'if one person besides Mr. Dell deserves

Mr. Owen: AvantGo is what you probably would consider a classic Silicon
Valley startup. It was founded in 1997 with
