Michael G. Ker – Webplan Corp.

MICHAEL G. KER, President and Chief Executive Officer of webplan Corp. since November 1994, is credited with successfully transitioning webplan from a service-oriented to a Web-native solutions company, with new business models, distribution programs, and marketing programs. His vision was that the Internet would become the network backbone for collaboration and e-Business and Mr. Ker re-positioned webplan to capitalize on the opportunity, years ahead of its competitors. Under Mr. Ker's leadership webplan has consistently recorded strong revenue growth and four consecutive years of profitability. Mr. Ker has been honored with numerous awards for his business acumen. Under his leadership, webplan was named a winner of Arthur Andersen's prestigious Canada's 50 Best Managed Private Companies award for 2000. In 1999, Mr. Ker won the Silver Award as Ottawa's Business Person of the Year. He is a board member for the O.C. Manufacturers Network, Technology Ventures, Patternrecognizer.com, Strategic Capital Planning, eCubix and Lochisle.
