KIERAN T. GALLAHUE was promoted to President in September 2000. He has
served as Nanogen's Chief Financial Officer since July 1999, as Senior
Vice President from July 1999 to September 2000, and as Vice President,
Strategic Marketing, from January 1998 to July 1999. Mr. Gallahue has
served as an Officer for the corporation since joining Nanogen in 1998.
Prior to joining Nanogen, he served as Vice President of the Worldwide
Critical Care Business Unit for Instrumentation Laboratory and held
various marketing, sales, and financial positions within Procter &
Gamble and the General Electric Company. Mr. Gallahue holds an MBA from
the Harvard Business School and a BA from Rutgers University. Profile
