DAN WARMENHOVEN is Chief Executive Officer of Network Appliance, Inc., a
leader in enterprise data management. He joined the company as President
and CEO and became a member of the Board of Directors in October 1994.
Since joining NetApp, Mr. Warmenhoven has been instrumental in guiding
the company's profitability. Previously, he served as Chairman,
President and CEO of Network Equipment Technologies, Inc.(N.E.T.).
During his four-year tenure there, Mr. Warmenhoven oversaw the expansion
of product and distribution strategies into new markets, which resulted
in significant revenue growth. Prior to N.E.T., he spent five years with
Hewlett-Packard, serving in a number of senior management positions
within the Computer Systems division, including Manager of the
Information Networks Group. Before that, Mr. Warmenhoven served 13 years
with IBM Corporation in engineering. He holds a Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. Profile
