Gary T. Mcilroy – Health Risk Management Inc (hrmi)

GARY T. MCILROY, M.D. is CEO, Chairman of the Board and CO-founder of Health Risk Management, Inc. (NASDAQ: HRMI). Founded in 1977, Minneapolis-based Health Risk Management provides a broad range of electronically-integrated health care, price and administrative management services to self-insured employers, unions, governmental entities, HMOs, PPOs, providers and insurance companies in 50 states and Canada. Prior to and during the establishment of Health Risk Management, Dr. McIlroy served in a consulting capacity as vice president of Damon Corp., a national, commercial lab which had purchased Midwest Laboratory Associates, a commercial lab he had founded and for which he served as president. Earlier, Dr. McIlroy was president of Upper Mississippi Pathologists, P.A., a group of professional pathologists managing operations for hospital-owned labs. Dr. McIlroy began his career in healthcare delivery as a pathologist with the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin. Dr. McIlroy is a member of the American College of Utilization Review Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Care and Review Association, and the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations. Previous memberships include the Minnesota Medical Association, American Society of Microbiology, Minnesota Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the American College of Nutrition. He is also a former affiliate member of the California Society of Pathology. Dr. McIlroy has spoken before numerous business coalitions, benefits, managers groups, and hospital and managed healthcare associations on topics such as the direction of the healthcare delivery industry, benefit plan design issues, PPO structures and the indications for medical quality assessment. Certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology, Dr. McIlroy is licensed to practice medicine in California, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He holds a BS in Chemistry and an MD in Pathology from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed his internship at University Hospitals of the U.C.L.A. Center for Health Sciences and his residency in pathology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Profile
