Henry Vickers Jr. – Aew Capital Management Lp

HENRY G. VICKERS, JR., is a Principal of AEW Capital Management, LP, and a Senior Investment Manager in the AEW Partners group, specializing in the origination and management of hospitality investments. The AEW Partners funds are a series of high-return private equity real estate partnerships managed by AEW on behalf of institutional investors. Mr. Vickers is responsible for managing over $1 billion of hotel and resort assets (12,000 rooms and 23 golf courses). He has more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, with a comprehensive background in the planning, development and operations of hotels, as well as extensive experience in the negotiation of hotel management and franchise contracts. Since joining AEW in 1990, Mr. Vickers has been involved in the negotiation, underwriting, structuring and management of client investments in over $2.5 billion of hospitality-related assets. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with Guest Quarters Hotels, where he was responsible for hotel development and acquisitions planning. Before joining Guest Quarters, he worked with Laventhol & Horwath providing consulting services to clients in the real estate and hospitality industries. Mr. Vickers is a member of the Industry Real Estate Financing Advisory Council (IREFAC) of the American Hotel & Motel Association.
