ANDREW MAY M.A. (Oxon), F.C.A, has been the Finance Director of Monsoon
Plc since 1981. After obtaining a degree in Law from Oxford University,
he qualified as an Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG.) He
joined Monsoon in 1980 as Chief Accountant being promoted to my current
position the following year. He was one of the three executive directors
who built up Monsoon from a small private company with nine Stores to a
medium sized public company with over 300 Stores. He has specific
responsibility for the whole Finance function including Financial
Management and Control, Budgeting and Forecasting, Business Planning,
Tax, Treasury etc. He is also responsible for IT, Audit, Investor
Relations and Company Secretarial matters. Profile
