Bill Wilson – Teamtalk.com Group Plc (ttk.l)

BILL WILSON is the Chief Executive and Chairman of Teamtalk.com Group Plc. Bill Wilson has demonstrated his business acumen via the development of his successful sports and telecommunications businesses, not only once, but twice, with the flotation of IMS in 1997, followed by Teamtalk.com in 2000. He is a highly respected businessman and through various lucrative business ventures has been an important contributor to the Leeds economy. Over the course of his career, Mr Wilson has worked for companies such as Ladbrokes and most notably William Hill, where he was Head of Management Information Services. Mr Wilson was involved with the development and implementation of technical platforms for the Rapid Raceline Premium Telephone service and the Satellite Information Services (SIS.) From 1990 until 1992, Mr Wilson was Managing Director of William Hill Leisure. In October 1992 he led a management buy-out, which resulted in the formation of the IMS Group Plc of which Mr Wilson was Chief Executive. In 1997 IMS floated on the London Stock Exchange and later that year Teamtalk.com was launched. In 2000, Mr Wilson orchestrated the demerger from IMS and Teamtalk.com Group Plc was established and listed raising net fund of GBP45 million.
