HARRY HOLMWOOD, is the Executive Deputy Chairman of Pure Entertainment
Games Plc. After a Computer Science degree specialising in Artificial
Intelligence, Mr Holmwood spent two years programming videogames. before
being approached by Sony Computer Entertainment in 1994 to work on their
forthcoming PlayStation games console. Since co-founding Pure as a games
development studio in April 1996, Harry has been responsible for the
overall direction of, and investment in, the Group, securing major
publishing and equity deals before floating the Group on the AIM market
of the London Stock Exchange in October 1999, and launching the
revolutionary online games and advertising platform freeloader.com.
Since its UK launch in summer 2000, freeloader.com now operates in UK,
US, France and Germany, and has rapidly become the best performing
