MARC SEMHOUN, Stephane Guiran (both graduates of French business school
(ESSEC) and Olivier Zimmer (an engineering graduate) founded Himalaya in
1990. Marc Semhoun was mainly in charge of business development of the
company. Originally in the operational marketing sector, from 1995
Himalaya progressively transformed itself into a Web Architect. Today
Himalaya defines itself as an interactive architect offering a global
Web solution that comprises consulting, design and technical
development. In 2000, Himalaya accelerated its development: IPO (on the
Nouveau March of Paris), hyper-growth, strategic acquisition, expansion
worldwide. Marc Semhoun is the Chief Executive Officer of Himalaya. Now
Himalaya, a 290 employees company, forecasts FRF122 million revenues for
