GEORGE R. CHAPDELAINE was elected President, Chief Executive Officer and
a director of Boston Restaurant Associates, Inc., in April 1994. Mr.
Chapdelaine joined a predecessor of the Company in 1982 and served as
its President, Chief Executive Officer and a director until it was
acquired by the company in April 1994. Prior to 1982, Mr. Chapdelaine
worked in the food service industry in various capacities, including as
an independent marketing consultant, a general manager of the Food
Service division for H.P. Hood, Inc., and a sales manager for Chiquita
Brands, a subsidiary of United Brands. Mr. Chapdelaine holds an MBA from
Clark University and graduated with a BS in Hotel and Restaurant
Management from Oklahoma State University. He currently serves on the
Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. Profile
TWST: Could you give an overview and brief history of Boston RestaurantAssociates?
Mr. Chapdelaine: The company will do approximately $22 million this
year. It's divided into two concepts.
