STEVE IRELAND is the Chief Executive of Non-League Media Plc. He is also
the Chief Executive of Eye Group Limited, which specialises in the
acquisition of intellectual property rights within the sports industry
and sports production. He was formerly head of BBC regional television
and local radio in the Northwest, president of programming for Gulf DTH
which transmits 10 satellite channels to the Middle East. He was the
producer of "After Hillsborough", a documentary following the
Hillsborough tragedy which won a Royal Television Society Special
Commendation, and also a programme on the Toxteth riots which received a
Royal Television Society Award for best regional news programme. Profile
