STEPHEN NEVITT is President and Chief Executive Officer of Serengeti
Eyewear, Inc. Mr. Nevitt also serves as Treasurer and is a Director of
the Company. Mr. Nevitt joined the Company in 1976 when it was known as
Solar-Mates, Inc. and served as a Vice President with responsibilities
in all phases of its operations, until 1993, when he became President of
the Company. Mr. Nevitt completed his undergraduate education at Long
Island University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in
1972. Mr. Nevitt also received a degree in Medical Photography in 1974,
completing a program sponsored by the Harvard Community Health Group in
Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Nevitt currently oversees all day to day
operations of Serengeti Eyewear, Inc. He is primarily responsible for
maintaining the Company's relationship with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
Additional functions include financial responsibilities, product
development, and investor relations. Mr. Nevitt has been involved in all
facets of the sunglass business since beginning his career with Solar-
Mates, Inc. The Company has evolved from a small manufacturing business
to a global, public company responsible to its shareholders for building
the equity of the Serengeti brand. Mr. Nevitt is married with two
teenage children and resides permanently in Sarasota, Florida. Profile
