CURTIS R. WELLING was named CEO of Princeton eCom in August 2000. He
came to the company from Societe Generale where he served as Executive
Vice President of SG Americas and President of SG Cowen Securities
Corporation. In that capacity, Mr. Welling oversaw the strategic
direction and enhancement of Societe General's investment banking
business in the Americas, including its acquisition of Cowen & Co. and
Barr Devlin Associates. Before joining Societe General in March, 1996,
he was Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Equity Capital
Markets for Bear Stearns & Company, Inc. where he founded the Equity
Capital Markets Department. Mr. Welling began his career with CS First
Boston. During his 14-year career, he held a series of senior management
positions, ultimately becoming a member of CS First Boston's Operating
Committee and Head of US Equity and Equity Capital Raising worldwide.
Mr. Welling received an AB from Dartmouth College and advanced degrees
in Law and Business from Vanderbilt University and the Amos Tuck School.
He has been active in a number of civic and charitable enterprises
including Spence Chapin Services, the nationally prominent adoption and
welfare agency, where he served as President. Profile
