DONNIE M. MOORE, Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration and
Chief Financial Officer for Cognos Inc., is responsible for financial
and administrative operations worldwide. He has more than a dozen years
of experience at Cognos and more than 25 years of financial and
administrative expertise in the computer industry. Mr. Moore joined
Cognos in 1986 as Vice President, Finance and CFO responsible for all
financial operations and facilities. In 1988 administration, logistics,
MIS and human resources were added to his responsibilities. In 1989 he
was promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, and
also became responsible for legal and government relations. Before
joining Cognos, Mr. Moore was Corporate Director, Plans and Analysis at
the world headquarters of the Burroughs Corporation in Detroit,
Michigan. Prior to that, he held positions as CFO of Burroughs Canada in
Toronto, Canada and Burroughs Limited in Wellington, New Zealand. Mr.
Moore holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering (Computer
Science) from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA in Finance from the
