CHRISTOPHER A. R. DARBY serves as President and CEO of @stake, Inc., the
world's largest independent Internet security consulting company.
Headquartered in Boston, @stake provides strategy, architecture and
operational security services to corporations that use the internet as a
business platform. Prior to joining @stake Mr. Darby served as President
and CEO of Interpath. Before Interpath, he held senior executive
responsibilities for telecom industry initiatives, corporate strategy
and alliances at Digital Equipment Corporation. He played a major role
in the creation of the Digital/MCI/Microsoft Global Alliance, the
world's first example of a global cooperative initiative to address the
convergence of telecommunications and computing. Mr. Darby has also held
positions at Northern Telecom in both the corporate offices at Nortel
and at Bell Northern Research (BNR). Working in the network architecture
organization at BNR, he was involved in ISDN development as well as
advanced data switching technologies. He went on to manage the company's
European data consulting business. A graduate of the University of
Western Ontario with a BA in Economics, Mr. Darby serves on the Board of
Visitors for the Organization for Tropical Studies, as well as the Board
of Visitors for the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of
