Tim Dye – Ransom (william) & Son Plc (rnsm.l)

TIM DYE, 37, is the Chief Executive of William Ransom & Son Plc. After four years in international banking and strategy consultancy, in 1988 he founded a specialist real estate firm. After selling that business, in 1990, backed by Hambros Plc, he founded and became CEO of environmental services business Dyvell. On acquisition of this business by Yorkshire Water Plc in 1994, he left the company to found and become CEO of RAMAR Technology, a wireless systems development business financed by a consortium of international institutional investors. He was appointed to the Board of William Ransom & Son Plc as Non-Executive Director in November 1998, and appointed Chief Executive in September 1999.
