Gerard Rudisin – Nightfire Software Inc

GERARD J. RUDISIN joined NightFire Software, Inc. in April 1999 as President and CEO from Rational Software, the e-development company. Mr. Rudisin led marketing for nearly eight years at Rational (based in Cupertino, CA) as it grew from a small private company to a highly successful public company. with $412 million in revenue for the year ended March 1999 and a $3 billion market capitalization. In multiple marketing roles at Rational he was responsible for product marketing, corporate marketing, branding, customer support, and sales support, as well as the marketing aspects of three acquisitions of public companies and two stock offerings that raised a total of $217 million. From 1986 to 1991 he was Vice President of Marketing and Customer Support at Alsys, a software tools supplier in the Boston area. From 1981 to 1986 he was a software developer, software architect, and software development manager at several start-up companies. Mr. Rudisin earned his Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1980 and his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1975.
