Howard Freedland – Broadband E2e

HOWARD FREEDLAND is a co-Founder and co-Chairman and CEO of broadband e2e. Prior to co-founding broadband e2e in October 1999, Mr. Freedland was Founder, Chairman and CEO of National Water & Power, a privately held third-party utility billing and software company located in Santa Ana, California. Prior to starting National Water & Power in November 1995, Mr. Freedland served in the Office of the Chairman of GE Capital- ResCom, a national telephone provider of competitive residential telephone service. Mr. Freedland was responsible for financing ($250 million in debt and equity) and negotiating partnering agreements with local exchange carriers (LECs) and inter-exchange carriers (IXCs). Prior to GE Capital-ResCom, Mr. Freedland was co-founder of London Freedland Incorporated, an investment bank in Beverly Hills specializing in financing early-stage public companies, including several telecommunications and technology companies. Mr. Freedland began his investment career as a Portfolio Manager, managing several mutual funds and founding September Investors, a hedge fund. Mr. Freedland received his BA degree from the University of Minnesota and studied for but did not receive his PhD in Finance from the University of Minnesota School of Management.
