Dennis Wilkinson – Princeton Video Image Inc (pvii)

DENNIS P. WILKINSON is currently President and CEO of Princeton Video Image, Inc. PVI has developed and is marketing a real-time video insertion system that, through patented pattern recognition technology, places computer-generated electronic images into television broadcasts of sporting events as well as other programming. The company has provided video insertion services for nearly 1,000 live telecasts worldwide, including broadcasts of Major League Baseball, National League Football, professional soccer and motorsports, as well as other live events. The company is headquartered in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with offices in New York City and Brussels, with Licensee's offices in Mexico City and Johannesburg. Prior to taking the top job at PVI Mr. Wilkinson served for four years as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Programming for PRIMESTAR, Inc., the second largest direct to home satellite TV company in the United States. While at PRIMESTAR he led the company's growth from 250,000 customers to 2.3 million customers in just over three years. Mr. Wilkinson moved to PRIMESTAR in 1995, after three and a half years as Senior VP of Consumer Marketing at the Home Box Office, the premier subscription TV service in the United States. His activities at HBO included national advertising and promotion, subscriber marketing and on-air promotion. He also led the team that introduced HBO EnEspaol in 1993, the very successful Spanish language HBO product. Mr. Wilkinson joined HBO after 20 successful years in the advertising business, rising from Account Executive at J. Walter Thompson to top management positions at FCB and DDB Needham. Mr. Wilkinson is a graduate of Princeton University and studied at Harvard Business School in the Executive Management Program. Profile
