PETER SCHWARTZ joined Descartes Systems Group, Inc. in 1990 and has been
a leading force in the company's growth since he joined. He has held
positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment
as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors in
1995, as well as Chairman of the Board in 1997. Chosen one of the
Financial Post's Top 40 Under 40 in 1998, Mr. Schwartz is a business
graduate of the University of Western Ontario. He is also a member of
the Young President's Organization and a Board Member of Communitech, U
