WILLIAM W. WINSPEAR, has been Chairman of the Board, President and Chief
Executive Officer of Associated Materials, Inc., since its inception in
1983. Mr. Winspear was President and Chief Executive Officer of
Chaparral Steel Company from 1975 to 1982.
