William J. Oddy

WILLIAM J. ODDY is Chief Executive Officer of FBL Financial Group, Inc.,
he joined FBL in 1968 after graduating from Drake University with a
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science. He has held several positions in
the company, becoming Mutual Funds Vice President in 1979, Vice
President – Controller and Financial Planning in 1983, Chief Financial
Officer in 1988, Chief Operating Officer and Assistant General Manager
in 1993. Mr. Oddy was named to his current position of CEO effective
March 1, 2000. Mr. Oddy is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a
Financial Principal of the National Association of Securities Dealers,
Inc.
