JAMES L. FORBES is Chairman and CEO of Badger Meter, Inc. He has been
with Badger Meter, a manufacturer of flow measurement technology, since
1979. He started with the company as General Manager, Flow Products
Division, and was promoted to Vice President in 1981, President in 1982,
added the title of CEO in 1997, and became Chairman and CEO in 1999.
Prior to Badger Meter, Mr. Forbes was with Will Ross, Inc. and Arthur
Andersen & Co. A member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the
Wisconsin Society of CPAs, Mr. Forbes holds a BBA in Accounting from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the
University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Forbes is a Director of a number
