Wayne A. Whitener

WAYNE A. WHITENER has over 20 years of experience in the geophysical
service industry, having served with TGC Industries, Inc. as Chief
Executive Officer since January 1999; Chief Operating Officer from July
1986 to December 1998; President since 1984; and as Vice President from
1983 to 1984. Prior to joining TGC Industries, Inc. in 1983, Mr.
Whitener served as Area Manager for Grant Geophysical Co. from December
1978 until July 1983.
