Tony Farmer

TONY FARMER FCA (aged 45), Chief Executive of JWE Telecom PLC. Mr.
Farmer joined the Group as non executive Finance Director in November
1995. He was appointed Executive Finance Director in April 1997 and, in
December 1998, he was appointed Chief Executive. He qualified as a
Chartered Accountant with Spicer and Pegler (subsequently Deloitte &
Touche) and became a partner in that firm in 1985. He left Touche Ross
(as it was then know) in 1991 to undertake a number of non-executive and
corporate advisory roles. As Chief Executive he is responsible for the
development of the strategic direction and operations of the Group.
