Tom Steinke

TOM STEINKE, President and Chief Executive Officer of Minnow Medical, Inc., has
over 20 years of senior management and product development experience in the
cardiovascular industry. Mr. Steinke was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer
of REVA Medical, a developer of novel stent designs that help treat vascular
disease. Prior to that, Mr. Steinke was product group director and venture
manager for Medtronic. Mr. Steinke was also Director of Engineering for Sonotek,
a developer of open-heart surgery ultrasound products, and research and
development engineer at ACS/Guidant where he researched new interventional
product concepts. Mr. Steinke was chosen to sit on the FDA advisory panel on
drug-device combinations, the Executive Committee of the Cardiovascular Special
Interest Group of the Society of Biomaterials, and the Best Practices Group of
the Product Development Roundtable. Mr. Steinke earned an MBA from National
University, San Jose, California, and a BS in Bioengineering from the University
of California, San Diego.
