TIMOTHY COFFEY, Vice President and Research Analyst at Fig Partners, is responsible for coverage of Western region banks and thrifts in the U.S. for the firm, and he is based in San Francisco. Previously, he was a Research Analyst for Green Street Capital Management, an asset manager focused on micro- and small-cap community bank stocks. Before that, Mr. Coffey covered the banking industry for several business publications in San Diego, Calif., and won first place in investigative reporting from The Associated Press in 2004. He has an MBA and an M.S. in financial analysis from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in economics from San Diego State University.
