Thomas W. Weik

THOMAS W. WEIK is an Equity Analyst and Chief Investment Officer of Weik
Investment Services, Inc. He founded the company in 1987 and has
supervised the firm’s investment work since that time. Mr. Weik’s
responsibilities include equity research and portfolio management. He
has served investors for 30 years. After Mr. Weik graduated from
Lebanon College in 1964, he engaged in graduate work at Roosevelt
University and a doctoral program at the Illinois Institute of
Technology. The Vietnam War interrupted his education when he was
called to duty and served for four years as a staff officer at
Headquarters Tactical Air Command, United States Air Force. Prior to
founding Weik Investment, he provided investment advice and related
brokerage services for 13 years as a Vice President and registered
representative with Butcher & Singer, Inc., and then as Vice President
and financial consultant with Shearson Lehman Brothers. In 1985, he
joined Connors Investor Services, Inc., serving as Vice President with
overall supervisory responsibility for client portfolios and playing a
major role in the firm’s equity research and portfolio management. Mr.
Weik is a member of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia, which is
affiliated with The Association for Investment Management and Research,
the Consumer Analyst Group of New York, and the Berks County Estate
Planning Council. He has written investment columns for two
Pennsylvania newspapers. Mr. Weik serves as a Trustee at Albright
College, chairing the Investment Committee, and as a Director for both
the Reading Public Museum and the Berks County Prison Society. He is a
Life Master and the ranking player of the Berks-Montgomery Unit of the
American Contract Bridge League.
