Thomas Stanford

THOMAS STANFORD, co-Founder and President of Greenwich Technology
Partners, oversees all client-focused activities, including business
development and the delivery of consulting and engineering services. Mr.
Stanford joined Greenwich Technology Partners in August 1997 as a
founding member of the senior management team and as GTP’s first
business development leader. As GTP’s most experienced sales leader, Mr.
Stanford actively engages in senior level business discussions with all
of GTP’s major Global 2000 prospective customers. He also oversees
important business development initiatives with existing clients in all
locations around the world. His focus, expertise and business
development experience lies primarily in technology services sales and
marketing. He has personally participated in or supervised the
negotiation of the scope of work for all of GTP’s larger consultative
projects and he actively assists GTP’s sales executives with their
regional business plans and development activities. His unrelenting work
ethic, determination and passion for excellence, plus a commitment to
customer satisfaction are some of the mantras he has instilled within
the company. In January 2000, Mr. Stanford established GTP’s global
partnership program and was instrumental in completing successful
strategic partner negotiations with several leading technology companies
including: Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, Cisco Systems and
Cabletron. He remains actively involved in all of GTP’s global partner
strategic negotiations and provides tactical direction to other senior
executives who manage the day-to-day activities of the company’s global
partnerships and strategic alliances program. He continues to serve as a
critical player in forging ongoing joint sales and marketing programs
with both established and emerging technology product providers. In
2001, Mr. Stanford participated with other members of the senior
management team to form GTP’s Service Provider Solutions organization,
and Relationship Management program. He oversees the Global Channel
Sales team that is responsible for all Global Partnerships, Service
Provider Solutions, Relationship Management and GTP’s Navigator
subsidiary. Prior to joining Greenwich Technology Partners, he spent
over nine years at SkyTel where he managed their Strategic accounts
program. He led the growth of over $500 million of sales during his
tenure there, and was part of the founding team (11th employee) that
took the company public. Mr. Stanford has a Bachelor of Science degree
in Finance and an MBA in Marketing, both from Northeastern University.
