THOMAS P. DEERING — Mr. Deering practices in the area of
employee benefits law. His practice encompasses pensions, profit
sharing and other tax qualified retirement plans, as well as
executive compensation, stock option plans, deferred compensation
and other fringe benefits. He has lectured extensively for the
American Law Institute-American Bar Association (Pension
Faculty), the Association of Private Pension and Welfare Plans,
the Western Pension and Benefits Conference, the Oregon State
Bar, and other local and regional organizations on pensions and
