Stefan R. Bothe

Stefan R. Bothe is Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer of FlexiInternational. Mr. Bothe is responsible for
FlexiInternational’s mission and strategic direction, and is the
company’s marketing visionary. Mr. Bothe is the former President and CEO
of DSI Group N.V., a Dutch-based international software company.
Previously, he was the President and CEO of Geac Computer Corp. Ltd.,
which he joined in 1989 and was responsible for major improvements in
the company’s operating efficiency and record earnings for fiscal year
1990. Prior to joining Geac in 1989, Mr. Bothe was President of the
Application Products Division for Computer Associates International,
Inc. (CA), one of the largest software companies in the industry. As a
member of CA’s senior management team, he helped the company grow from
$28.4 million in 1982 to $1 billion in 1989 and profits increased from
$2.4 million to $163.5 million during that period. While at CA, Mr.
Bothe held numerous senior management positions, including President of
the International Division (1984-1985); President of the Micro Products
Division (1983-1984); and Senior Vice President of Marketing
(1982-1983). Mr. Bothe has extensive marketing experience outside of the
computer software industry. He was with RCA as Vice President of
Marketing at C.I.T. Financial Services, and was Vice President of
Marketing and Sales for the Leasing Division of Hertz for the 1978-82
period. In addition to his extensive corporate marketing experience, he
was with Ogilvy and Mather Advertising agency as the Account Manager for
the American Express Traveler’s Check account from 1976 to 1978. Mr.
Bothe received his initial marketing training in the packaged goods
industry, serving as a Product Manager for Colgate Palmolive. Mr. Bothe
received his MBA from Columbia University and his Bachelor of Science in
Marketing and Finance from California State University.
