Stan Vermeulen

STAN VERMEULEN has been Managing Director and CEO of Alpinvest Holding
NV since 1991. Prior to that he was a board member of Enka A.G., the
fibres and plastics division of AKZO Basis Wuppertal in Germany. Mr
Vermeulen started his career as an Officer in the Dutch army and then
joined Shell and ATO Chimie, working in the sales and Research and
Development department. Mr Vermeulen’s professional qualifications
include a TU Delft degree in Chemical Engineering and a degree in
Business and Economy. He also studied at the Harvard Business School
the AMP/SMP program.
