Sean E. Belanger

SEAN E. BELANGER has been President and Chief Executive Officer of
Paradyne Networks, Inc., and a member of its Board of Directors since
his appoinment in December 2000. Prior to his current position, Mr.
Belanger served as Paradyne’s President and Chief Operating Officer with
responsibility for sales and marketing, research and development, and
customer service. He began his career with Paradyne in June 1997 as
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Service, where he drove
Paradyne’s sales through strategic and tactical initiatives. He has a
proven track record in sales management exceeding revenue and
profitability plans as well as customer expectations. During his tenure
with Paradyne, Mr. Belanger has played a vital role in building a global
sales and service organization responsible for the deployment of
Paradyne’s solutions in all 50 states and more than 140 countries. Prior
to joining Paradyne, he served as Vice President and General Manager of
3Com Corporation’s Network Service Provider Division. Earlier in his
career, he held the positions of Vice President of Sales at Primary
Access and Penril DataComm. Mr. Belanger holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and
State University.
