Ronald W. Lyon

RONALD W. LYON is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary at Cap Rock Energy Corporation. Mr. Lyon is also involved in
labor and employment law litigation, investigation of employment
discrimination claims, public utility law, and business and commercial
Litigation, with the law officer of Ronald W. Lyon, PC. He has served as
full-time General Counsel for the regional-based electric company since
1993, performing all functions equivalent to that of an in-house
counsel, specializing in advice with regard to employment and personnel
problems, contract negotiation, litigation, litigation management, and
overseeing all legal affairs of the company. Mr. Lyon was a Partner with
McGowen & Lyon, PC from March 1991 to September 1997. He was in-house
counsel-Litigation Section for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
from March 1991 to June 1990; Associate Attorney for Munson, Munson,
Hynds, Gordon & Pierce, PC from March 1986. Mr. Lyon is a member of the
State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Grayson County Bar
Association, Labor and Employment Law, and Public Utility Law Sections,
State Bar of Texas, Labor and Employment Law Section, American Bar
Association. He has a JD, cum laude from Texas Tech University School of
Law, and is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for
excellent achievement in the study of commercial law and criminal law.
He received an MBA from East Texas State University with a
specialization in Economics and Finance and a BBA in General Business
from East Texas State University.
