Rodney Hathaway

RODNEY HATHAWAY, CFA, is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at
Heartland Advisors. He joined Heartland in 1997 as a Research Analyst
focusing on the healthcare, biotechnology and software sectors. In
January 2002, he was promoted to Portfolio Manager as a member of the
portfolio management team of the Heartland Value Plus Fund. Previously,
he was an Equity Research Analyst with Banc One Investment Advisors and
an Equity Research Associate with Robert W. Baird & Company. He received
an MBA in 1997 from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of
Business and a BBA from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1994.
