Rick J. Hans

RICK J. HANS is Director of Finance and Assistant Treasurer of Walgreen
Co. Mr. Hans joined Walgreens in 1987 as a Financial Analyst. In 1990,
he became a Manager in the Real Estate Department and was promoted to
Senior Real Estate Manager in 1995. He was named to his current position
in 1999. Mr. Hans earned a BS in Geology from the University of
Wisconsin in 1978, a Master’s degree in Materials Science and
Engineering from the University of Texas in 1983 and an MBA from the
University of Notre Dame in 1987. In 1991, he became a Chartered
Financial Analyst.
