Richard D. Ekstrom

RICHARD D. EKSTROM has been the Chairman, President and a Director of
Demegen, Inc. since January 1996 and has been with the company since
1994. Prior to Demegen, Mr. Ekstrom was Chief Operating Officer of
Preferred Solutions Inc. from 1993 to 1994 and President of Cost
Containment Corporation from 1990 to 1991. He was also President of
Prescription Price Watch Inc. from 1992 to 1995 and Manager of Health
Benefits for Westinghouse Electric Corporation from 1984 to 1990. Other
positions with Westinghouse included Manager of Value Planning
(1981-1984), Manufacturing Manager (1979-1981) and Division Controller
(1973-1979). Mr. Ekstrom has published a number of articles and holds a
BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Boston University.
