Richard Clough

RICHARD CLOUGH, CEO, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1968 and
having spent a short amount of time in the profession, joined a public
company in the textile business. After rising to Group Accountant, he
accepted an appointment as Financial Director of a private clothing
group, eventually becoming Managing Director and expanding the group
from one UK factory to eight factories including units in South Africa
and Malta. He joined Care UK plc in 1987 and, as Chief Executive
Officer, defined and has led Care UK’s unique healthcare strategy,
taking the group from a 5 million valuation in 1994 to in excess of
100 million.
