Richard Barfield

Richard Barfield was Group Finance Director of Northgate Information Solutions plc (formerly MDIS Group plc) from April 1995 until May 2000; he was also President of Northgates Glovia joint venture with Fujitsu and President of the Groups application development tools business, PRO-IV. Prior to that he occupied senior financial positions with Bellsouth Corporation and Smithkline Beecham. Richard is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with KPMG in 1982. He was appointed to the Board on 29 June 2000.
