Richard A. Walls

RICHARD A. WALLS is President and Director of Pan East Petroleum Corp.
Mr. Walls has 21 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry. He
started his career with Columbia Gas as an exploration geologist. After
receiving a M.S. in geology from the University of North Carolina and a
Ph.D. from McGill University he joined Shell Canada in Calgary. After
working as a Devonian exploration geologist at Shell he joined Canadian
Hunter Exploration as a senior exploration geologist specializing in
Cretaceous clastic reservoirs. From Canadian Hunter Mr. Walls went on to
become Vice President of Petrosec Exploration Ltd. and President of
Kentex Oil Corporation, both companies being operated out of Houston,
Texas and active in Gulf Coast exploration and development. Mr. Walls
returned to Calgary in 1989 to become President and one of the major
shareholders of C&W Energy Ltd. After the sale of C&W in early 1993, Mr.
Walls became the President and one of the principal shareholders of Pan
East Petroleum Corp.
