Randell B. Pardy

RANDELL B. PARDY is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tethys Energy Inc. Mr. Pardy has been a part of the Calgary oil and gas industry since 1981. Prior to founding Tethys Energy in 1996, Mr. Pardy was the Vice President of Development Marketing and Marketing at Northstar Energy Corporation. During his eight-year tenure at Northstar, Mr. Pardy was an integral part of the team that increased the market capitalization of the company from $30 million to $600 million. Mr. Pardy founded Tethys Energy in 1996 and is currently President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Tethys is based in Western Canada and has grown to 3,700 barrels of oil equivalent per day with a total capitalization of $80 million. The company has grown through a combination of grass roots exploration, strategic acquisitions and exploitation. Tethys is a public company whose common shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol TET. Mr. Pardy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics he received a Gold Medal for Academic Excellence and graduated first in his class from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1973 to 1977; Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering Science and a Master of Arts degree in Engineering Science from Oxford University which he attended from 1977 to 1979; Master of Business Administration (Finance), graduated in top 15% of his class from University of Calgary which he attended from 1984 to 1990.
