Ralph B. Mandell

RALPH B. MANDELL serves as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive
Officer of PrivateBancorp, Inc., and its subsidiary, The PrivateBank and
Trust Company. He co-founded The PrivateBank in 1991. Before starting
The PrivateBank, he spent 21 years at First United Financial Services,
Inc., including positions as President and Chief Executive Officer of
Oak Park Trust and Savings Bank and Chairman of First United Trust
Company. Mr. Mandell is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
