Peter V. Ferris

PETER V. FERRIS is the Managing Director of Investor and Corporate
Relations at TyCom Ltd. and has been with the company since 1999. He was
appointed to this position following TyCom’s successful July 2000 IPO,
prior to which the company was known as Tyco Submarine Systems Ltd.
Before assuming his current role at TyCom, Mr. Ferris was Managing
Director of Global Marketing, overseeing worldwide marketing programs.
Before joining TyCom, Mr. Ferris held a number of increasingly
responsible positions with Dexter Corporation, a global specialty
chemical and materials company. His nine-year career at Dexter led to
his appointment as Vice President/General Manager of the Polymer Systems
business unit, a position he held until joining TyCom.
