Peter G. Winton

PETER G. WINTON was elected Managing Director of Emerald Ener gy Plc in
Nov 1996 when Emerald Energy became listed on the London Stock Exchange.
He has been involved with international oil exploration and production
for 34 years, fifteen of those with Tricentrol Plc until it was bought
by Arco in 1988. He has a BSc in Geology from Aberdeen University, but
his early career was as an oil exploration geophysicist. He is a fellow
of the Institute of Petroleum.
