Nick Padgett

NICK PADGETT is Chief Financial Officer of Inforte Corp. He is
responsible for the company’s long-term financial strategy. He
has extensive experience in the financial and technology arenas
and serves on Inforte’s Board of Directors. Under his leadership
and strong financial management skills, Inforte has met or
exceeded earnings expectations every quarter since it went public
in 1999. He has also successfully led Inforte through 15
consecutive quarters of positive cash flow. Prior to joining
Inforte, Mr. Padgett served as an Equity Research Analyst for
William Blair & Company, a Chicago-based investment bank, where
he conducted research, made stock recommendations and assisted
emerging technology companies with equity financing. During his
tenure at William Blair, he was recognized as an expert in the
areas of computer telephony and bar code/auto ID and was
frequently quoted in the national business press. Mr. Padgett has
also served as a Senior Consultant for Accenture in Chicago,
Manila and London. While at Accenture, he developed, marketed and
supported MAC-PAC business operations software for manufacturing
and distribution companies. Mr. Padgett earned a Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University,
graduating as the class co-valedictorian. He holds a Master’s
degree in Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of
Business Administration at Dartmouth College. Mr. Padgett also
earned a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has received
the Certified Production and Inventory Management qualification
from APICS.
